Default Re: Ignition switch

This is a common problem with crossfires. There is a thread on this forum about how to replace but I do not know how to find it. I am having the same problem and would like to replace my switch with one of te on/off starter buttons you se on some of the new cars. I do not yet know who makes a system where you carry a electronic fob in your pocket so the car recognizes your rights to start it with the button. Viper has a remote start but you still need the key to work to get an SRT out of Park. I would rather spend on an upgraded system than fight the common crossfire problem. Can any of you help the two of us?

I had to destroy my switch and am turning it on with a screwdriver with the key close to the sensor. I was looking at this company but I don't know how reliable they are but it looks legit. Advanced keys http://www.advancedkeys.com/Prod_AK104B.html
