Crossfire Member from Ontario
Hi there everyone,
I'm the proud new owner of a sweet yellow 2007 Crossfire Limited Roadster!! I've always loved the Crossfire, especially in yellow. I've always loved yellow new Beetles, so in 2003 I bought a brand new yellow Beetle and called her "Bubbles" - for her bubbly personality and bubble shape. In 2009, I traded her in on a brand new 2009 Mustang GT convertible (California Special). I've always loved Mustangs too.
Truth be told, although my Mustang is a great car, I really missed my yellow "Bubbles".
Then through the winter of 2012/13 we saw the yellow Crossfire sitting on a Chrysler lot as we drove past the lot several times that winter. Then at the end of March I finally checked it out online. We took it for a test drive and the rest is history.
What an awesome car! Not only the top trim level for 2007, but the previous owner added lots of extras like the two-tone interior, extended full warranty, winter tires, and the "yellow" colour was an upgrade! The car was bought and sold from the same dealership. It had just 36,000 kms on it and we got to see all the service records. Plus a squeeky clean "Car Proof" report. This car is just like new!! The only negative for me is that it's an automatic.
The first time I worked the convertible top, I thought it looked like a Transformer - so I called her "Bumble Bee".
My poor Mustang now feels rejected . . . I've chosen to drive Bumble Bee more often. But I'm keeping my Mustang too -- they're two totally different rides and I just love driving the manual transmission and the power of the pony car.
I'm thrilled to join this forum of like-minded Crossfire enthusiasts!!

Hi Karen -
Welcome to the forum and the fun of owning and driving a Crossfire. We have the same colour/combo as yours, but with the manual transmission. There are some great people in your neck of the woods with Crossfires and there are get togethers to get involved with and enjoy. Check out the Canadian forum, and we hope to see you soon.
