Hello from MD!

First off my story.

I have never treated myself to a car like this since I was a teen. That said, it was my girlfriend that spotted my latest purchase out on our way back from an event. We pulled into the lot, they had just cleaned it up from the trade and put it on the lot.

2005 Roadster Limited Aeroblue Metallic 959/5959/CBK
49,213 Milage

Outside of some minor nicks and wear, foggy headlamps, she was BEAUTIFUL!!
She drove like a dream! It was well cared for, the only thing that we say that truly needed addressing was the roadster convertible rear glass issue (it was starting to show and had been repaired once before.), and the front headlights were never cared for and looks like Casper the friendly ghost had used them for his hankie!
The dealer agreed to repair the top and fix the lights for me as well as replace the tires since there was a deep gash in the drivers side.

Well of course this was my treat to me, now she has ridden like a dream and cleaned up wonderfully. The dealer did take her in to fix the lights, and the top. Here is where the story has me choking on the pits of the cherry car i just bought!

The dealer dropped my car off to me at work, however the "delivery boy" did not give me the keys, he left them with a co-worker and left as quickly as he could with his escort. I never had time to inspect the work they did and when I came out and saw what had happened to my new hobby car that I intend to share and show, I was livid!

The lights looked horrible and unfinished, but the worst thing was that the buffer apparently got away from the worker and he scored a HUGE gash into the car! Not to mention that when they were doing work in the dash, they BROKE the dash, leaving a giant hole near the ignition between the upper and lower sections. There was more, needless to say I addressed this immediately.

My story with my dealer will continue, as my salesman and service manager both right now understand how DISAPPOINTED I am. However I will give them a chance to correct this. The good news is the top is being replaced fully with the new top. Hopefully my dealer will correct the grevious error that has occurred as I stated, "Exactly as it looked when I bought it, or BETTER." Which is how a car should come to you after it is supposedly detailed and cleaned.

Either way my story and my journey wit my new car is just beginning, and I do have plans for upgrades and getting her show ready. I look forward to talking with the many experienced Crossfire owners here and abroad.

David
