newbie from boston south shore
ive Been eyeballin a 2005 xfire , right now its at a dealership gettin trans fixed, they say its a neutral safty switch/hard shifting problem. Is this something that dc has a fix for or is this gonna be a problem from now on? Also wondering what are the problems plagueing these cars in particular the 2005? The last thing i want to do is buy a car that spends more time at the dealership than on the road. I'm gettin the car for the wife, and it'll probably stay garaged most if not all of the winter and through the bad weather. We picked up a beautiful little 85 320 sl with 50 k on it, just put a new top on it and i love it, however the little lady has issues putting up the manual top so the mercedes sadly has to go , just dont have the room for it. Any and all help ya can give me is appreciated thanks all.
