Default Can't Wait...

Hey guys,

My name is Jacob and I live in little ole' Delaware. The title of the thread is due to the fact that I am in the process of purchasing one of these works of art, and obviously can not wait. I have been through so much information on here and I just want to say thank you. It has helped with my decision on what affordable sports car will fit me the best. I just wanted to make a quick introduction and allow anyone who may have sold or know of any crossfires for sale in my area (mid-atlantic) to leave a comment. I have been looking for awhile now and I have my eyes set on a few. My car is currently being sold so I am just waiting for that to be finalized before cruising to a few dealerships and checking them out.

Welcome to the forum! Are you looking for a coupe or a roadster?

Thanks for the welcoming in! I am looking for a coupe w/ a manual, so no SRT. I have my eyes on a 04 black coupe and a similar white one. Both good mileage.

You will love each mile in the one you find.

Condition is everything and since they use salt in your part of the country, check underneath and the door seals (see thread on "Rust".)

Make sure you can find a position in the seat where you can get comfortable. My coupe is nearly there but took a sledge hammer.

Oh I know I will inferno. The main reason I am selling my current car is because I wanted more of a driver's car. Being a young guy, I am able to have the two seater as my daily driver so I am excited for all the miles to come.

Thanks for the helpful info Padgett! I'll be sure to check for things like that when seeing the cars in person. I'll have this car for awhile if everything goes as planned so I'm definitely making sure I get the right one.

OK, for me the only other drawback was the stereo/CD from the last century but that is an easy fix. (Several threads on that also).

Thanks for the heads up! Do you mean outdated due to the lack of an aux input, or that the sound system was outdated? I was hoping the infinity 6 speaker system was pretty good.

That is part of it but also no Bluetooth, Pandora, or USB capability. Some would also value Sirius. Any more the only thing I use a CD slot for is a Phone mount.

My life is like this. I feel a need to do something and when I do many other possibilities open up. Have been working on tablets in cars for several years, Windows tablets for a year and it is all coming together now.

The vendors managed to screw up the 8" Bay Trail tabs but I expect a firmware revision to correct RSN.

Meanwhile now that I have the seat back far enough, I need to add some padding (about 1/8-1/4") to the seat (had this issue in Fieros also). Yesterday I scored a good driver's seat to experiment on and the online service manual says how. Anyone know the SEM numbers for a dark grey and Cedar red seat ?

Some unfortunate news.
The deal I was working on with my current car fell through, sooo no Crossfire until I can get it sold.

Thanks!
So new update,
Going to a dealership on Tuesday to try and work out a deal on my car, as well as a crossfire.
If deal doesn't work out, then still more waiting.
Crossin' my fingers!
