BAS/ESP light on
Good Morning everyone,
I will throw this question out, Last night driving home my BAS/ESP came on, car was running fine.
When i started it up this morning the indicator light was off, went down to pick up the news paper and the indicator came on again.
So the question is what is the problem and is it a big fix or a little fix? 2004 CF with 66,000 miles on her.

Get the codes read and end the guessing game.
I read up on this because I experienced that BAS / ESP light coming on when I was at the track this past August. When the light came on it disabled the supercharger. Haven't gotten around to checking it out further because the problem has not returned (but I haven't been driving the car much either . . . mostly have just been working on it). Here's what I found back at that time and my symptoms fit what's written here . . .

I suspect the strain of tugging on the steering wheel during high performance driving at the track is what caused my BAS / ESP experience. I'll be checking out that mounting situation before heading up to the Dragon.
