Default new guy

Just bought me a black Srt6 2005. Had SLK350 for quite a few years but lost it a year ago been waiting a while to get low again.

About 45,000. So it is still young. Not as roomy as my old slk but im getting used to it.

Im digging around the mods threads and see some intresting ones already. Want to get all the service stuff done first though.

One question though how can you tell that your supercharger is working? Sometimesj the car seems faster then others.

Sounds like its time to replace the IC pump. See

One SURE way is to connect a LED and resistor between switched 12v and pin 1 of the SC clutch connector or pin C1-1 of the Powertrain Control Module and mount it somewhere visible, but discreet.
When the LED is lit, the S/C is engaged.
