Wink Just joining the forum

My name is Martin and I have a 2008 Crossfire coupe limited with 23,000 miles bought it new with 3,500 miles I am planning to keep it for a while. I may let my teenager son drive it thru his senior year. I would like eventually replace the air intake with a cold air intake since the original air induction system is not the best. For now I drive it on weekend and enjoy when it still turns heads.

You might want to rethink the teenage son part. Ha Ha. He will be knee deep in girls at school. If he has a steady girlfriend she wont like it much.

But, on the other hand, he'll only be able to get one girl in the car with him at a time.
Or maybe not..........

If the MB dealer will accept you, the parts are cheaper there.

You should never go to Chrysler. Any Chrysler part is twice the cost of the Mercedes part. Many parts can cross reference to the Mercedes part, if so use those. If in doubt, ask here. People here know WAY more than Chrysler OR Mercedes put together. The best bet is to find a local independent Mercedes service garage. Tell them it's a SLK 320 on a R170 platform.
