Thumbs up New owner from California

I love my 2004 xfire got it with 64000 miles from a dealer here in Cali. The car is amazing but I think the valve cover gaskets need to be replaced I'm planning on doing it myself. Also I'm noticing some slight vibration on the main pulley do you guys think its normal?

Congratulations !

NO ! The crankshaft pulley should show NO signs of vibration.
This had best be looked into before it gets a lot more expensive.

Main point with the valve cover vent repair is cleanliness.
Clear away the old RTV, then do it again, then again until you see NO signs of the old material.
Plastic scrapers, brass / copper brushes etc, then clean real good with alcohol.
BE CAREFUL WITH THE SCREWS, THEY ARE ALUMINUM !

Thanks I took it back to the dealer they only plugged the computer and said there was nothing wrong. I'm worried since it only has a 90 day warranty with them.
