Hello everyone. Just bought a 2004 Crossfire coupe. Not sure of the "official" color name but it is a metallic red with grey interior. Seems to have all the bells and whistles and they all work. 51,000 original miles. Had to fly from Arizona to Cleveland to pick it up and drive home which gave me a couple of days to get a feel for her and shake it down so to speak. Of course I couldn't find one closer to home in the condition I was looking for. I had the sales rep on Skype go over the car while I watched to give her a good going over before committing to the purchase since it was a 2000 mile trip. A few minor stone chips but no rust, no accident damage and no door dings were my big concerns. I wasn't disappointed! I have always liked the Crossfire since it's introduction but never felt the need so to speak to buy one. I was actually going to get a nice Crown Victoria but saw an ad for a Crossfire and said to myself, what the hell, you don't need a four door comfortable car, you need a small, squeeze yourself into sports car just like the other one sitting in the garage. One of my other cars is a fully restored 1971 Triumph GT6 MKIII. So the search began for the Crossfire and ended a couple of weeks ago with this one.
Anyway, that's the long and short of it. I'm sure I will be picking others brains here on the nuances and problems these cars have.
Yep, 8 day trip for me as all I can take in a day is about 250 miles.
I did drive straight through on the return from Eureka Springs though.
Longest trip I have made in the Crossfire, about 690 miles.
Took me a week to recover from that.
Longest non-stop drive ever for me was 1500 miles ( all in snow ) from Denver in '69 in a '67 Camero ( 327/350hp 4 speed Posi ), but I was but a puppy then with the vim & vigor gauge still at 95%.

Color is Blaze Red Crystal Pearl Coat.
If the interior is solid grey, then that is Dark Slate Gray Leather. Two-tone leather is Dark Slate Grey & Medium Slate Grey. Couldn't really see which one your car has.
In 2004, the 1st model year, the Crossfire essentially came loaded. The car was called only a Chrysler Crossfire. There were not model distinctions like the following years.
About the only options in 2004 were 5-speed Autostick (6-speed manual was standard), Premium stereo w/ NAV (w/o NAV was standard), Performance All-Season Tires (Performance Summer tires were standard).
You're going to love this car! And the Triumph is really sharp looking.
Welcome from Spartanburg, SC. The Crossfire and the Triumph are very sharp! Well cared for.
You obviously are into red cars. The guy we bought our Crossfire from was that way about white
vehicles. He had a white Toyota with black interior, a white Jaguar with black interior and a white
Harley with a black seat. Of course the Crossfire was the same. We drove it 700 miles from South
Florida to Spartanburg. This photo was taken the day we bought it when we stopped by my sister's
condo in Palm Beach.
Enjoy the Crossfire. Like a beautiful woman, it has it's eccentricities. Learn about them and how to
cope and you'll have a great relationship.
Thanks for the photos, both great looking cars, once you get the bug you're hooked !!
My husband was so taken with my SRT6 he's just bought one in Black, he thinks it's more
manly plus I wouldn't let him put any extra's on mine
