So I sorta have the same perspective as onehunder80. The things we've been discussing are not show stoppers. And for $8k, the price versus condition is fairly well matched.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been somewhat amazed that Crossfires are selling for $2-4K more than recognized market value. Now the cars I've looked at were all low mileage and seemed to be well cared for. But these cars are no where near "collector status" and have reputations as being "temperamental". We tend to overlook that because we're passionate about the marque and have helped one another out over the years to where we can fix and/or repair nearly everything on the car. MTCW

All you have to do is make the leap! If you decide not to pursue this, let me know where the car is located! Hah!
