Default Wrecked 2004 Crossfire

I've posted 2-3 times over the past 4 years since I bought by 2004 Crossfire. The forum has always been helpful and I read a lot more than I post.

Unfortunately I hydroplaned on the interstate and struck the retaining wall pretty hard Monday morning. I was only doing 55mph but hit a bad spot at 5am when it was still dark. I'm fine but the car isn't...likely to be totaled.

I guess I don't need to ask anything but just venting. Learn from some things I've thought about since the wreck.

Hindsight...
1) Storming like crazy so I should have slowed even more for the conditions. My fault.
2) I was low on gas and the added weight probably would have helped. My fault.
3) Spoiler was not deployed. I should have deployed it manually for more back-end downforce. My fault.

Next step...looking for an upgrade to SRT6. Anyone looking to sell (other than those on the sale page) are welcome to contact me. I live in NW Florida so will start looking close by.

I doubt the spoiler would have mattered--best of luck

If you live in NW Florida, why do you list Alabama in your account ?

Probably lives in LA area, Lower Alabama. Yes it's Florida but a lot of people consider it LA.

Sorry to hear about your car. There is an SRT6 Roadster for sale in Louisiana. I think he's asking $8,000. It is black. Let me know if you are interested. Have you looked on Car Gurus? Lots of Crossfires on there. We bought most of our Crossfires on Craigslist.
