Bought a 2005 Coupe Limited for my son. About 89,000 miles. I've been a shadetree mechanic out of neccessity most of my life. I've owned and repaired a 1976 Datsun 280Z, a BMW 325i, a Soarer -- also known as a Lexus SC400, assorted Mazdas, Nissans and a Cadillac.

I'm excited to now have another scarce but much-loved car to experience. I've already found several helpful threads.

Are there any other Texas XF owners here?

Texas is a big state. What part of it are you from?

I’m in Austin, too. I’ll be running the back roads tomorrow morning in my convertible. Hamilton Pool Road and Fitzhugh Road north of Dripping Springs and out towards Johnson City.

Let’s get together sometime .
