New Member IntroductionsWelcome new members !!
This is the place to post a new thread and introduce yourself and tell us a little about yourself and what model Crossfire you just bought or are looking to buy.
Threads created for anything other than introductions are subject to be moved to the appropriate section in the forum for the topic being posted.
Just figured id introduce myself and my new daily driver to the forum. Ive been lurking around here the past week or so since I got the car just to familiarize myself with all the good's and bad's of the car.
I plan on doing some tasteful modifications to the car during my ownership, but overall I love how cool and unique this car looks stock so Im not planning to go crazy. Below is a picture of the car for your viewing pleasure.
I am in the chicago suburbs, so if anyone has recommendations for mechanics near there that know how to work on the crossfire, im looking!
See you all on the forums!

Here's a link (CLICK) to a website that will allow you to look up independent M-B service shops in & around your location. There is also a thread on the Forum that provides shops recommended by Crossfire Owners.
Really a nice looking Coupe. Oyster Gold is somewhat rare and makes the car unique just about anywhere it shows up. Great find!
Thanks! The rare color was definitely a factor, and with only 41,500 miles I would have been crazy to pass it up! Loving the driving experience so far!
I think the Gold is the only color I have not seen in person. Always looks sharp in pictures. Enjoy!
One of the prettiest Crossfires I ever saw was an Oyster Gold Roadster that had the Tuxedo interior with custom wheels. A member of the St Louis Crossfire group drove it when the 1st CAA event (pre-cursor to the GTGs in Eureka Springs) was held in St Louis back in 2006.

Tuxedo is my favorite interior color on the crossfire. Compliments the Oyster Gold perfectly. But I can imagine it probably gets dirty quickly!
