I bought a 2007 Aero Blue Coupe, Limited for my wife on July 11, 2022. She has always had a special interest in Crossfires. It was among the used cars at a Nissan Dealership in Avon, Indiana. VIN: 1C3LN69L47X073201. MDH: 051607. It was in excellent shape for a 15 year old car and it had 83,500 miles on it. The dealer shared the CarFax report with me. The car has the stainless steel mesh grille which might be the result of the "minor front damage" noted in the CarFax report. It has the 5-speed automatic trans.
I was delighted to learn through the production statistics found posted on the Forum that it is 1 of 94 cars produced in 2007 with that color and trans combination. The car has been trouble-free during 4 months of ownership. It had one annoyance, however; on bumpy roads the latch for the Decklid rattled. I made a modification that has eliminated that problem for all but the most extreme bumps. I purchased some foam weather-stripping, sticky on one side. I stuck a piece of foam on the adjustment prongs on each side of the Decklid. See the picture attached.

Welcome to the forum!!! Just a little advice, quite a few owners have put black duct tape or 3M foam backing on the body where those stoppers rest when closed. I can’t see yours but I’ve seen quite a few XF owners that have indentions from not adjusting the stops. It needs a soft and sung landing, the worst I’ve seen was when someone’s tailgate gas struts went out and it slammed down and shattered the back window.
Welcome to the Crossfire family. I'm just a bit north of you up in Lafayette Indiana. Good to hear that you are enjoying the car. There are some very knowledgeable people here who can help with any issues you may have. I hope to meet you at one of our Crossfire group rides sometime. There are several around the Indy area that are on here or the Facebook groups.
