Default New one here, R170 320

Hi everyone!
I just joined a place I've been visiting for a few years now. I have a MB R170 320, so it's pretty similar to the Crossfire

Welcome to our Forum. Lots of DIY repairs for known problems with the R170 chassis.

If you're interested, I've made a thread of mostly "how to" posts. Brakes, shocks, valve cover gaskets, breathers, etc...
It tracks the story of my car and it's maintenance since I've owned it. There are a lot of detailed pictures with descriptions that may be helpful for your R170.

M60A3Driver, thank you. I will check it of course.

https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...Index-R170.htm - I like DIY tips made by Pelicanparts. It's quite well prepared. Many of them can be used by Crossfire owners.

I would agree with you on this point. But I also highly recommend the DIY thread by M60A3Driver, which is one of the better DIY threads on the Forum for complete step-by-step detail, including pictures.

That link seems to bring up Crossfires for sale.

Always glad to have both Crossfire and SLK enthusiasts here. While 99.5% of the content your find here will be Crossfire specific, we do have a subforum for SL/SLK/SLC owners to post up interest items, issues and other things related directly to those platforms. However, as you noted, most everything here is in common with the R170 (Crossfire is C193/R193), and we are friendly to both platforms.
