Shopping around need opinions
Hi all just looking into the Crossfire Roadsters. Didn't remember these cars till I started shopping all convertibles. I see a lot of these with low mileage and I'm assuming it's because of the original high cost and people using as second cars. I've found a couple listings in Florida that are a few hours away. I was hoping on leaning on everyone's good graces and aggregate knowledge to see if either is a good pick up. Or if both, which would be the better buy. Thank you ahead of time for responses!

Check this link for advice on buying tips https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/new-member-introductions/51192-helpful-info-those-looking-purchase-crossfire.html
Those are very good prices for both , I would research both dealers, here's a link for Crossfires for sale on the forums, more pages at the bottom of the 1st page https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...nsmission%5D=0

I would agree that pricing is good. I would look at both and take the one in better condition. Just from the pictures the higher millage one looks to be nicer or just better detailed.
I personally am not a big Mickey or Minnie fan. I have the feeling if you remove those stickers, you will be repainting part of the console.
Good luck they are great little cars.

😅 yeah I'm a pass on the stickers as well......kids would probably love them. I agree that the blue is looking better kept and dealer did put new tires on with alignment.
Both these have been marked down. Since I'm just starting the research (thanks for the thread links) are these just that under appreciated? Given I only started looking when I just blanket searched convertibles vs something specific.

Then you won't have to worry about the "Sticky Key" issue. Ask for a picture of the data plate located on the driver's door. That will give you the build date.
If its' before mid July 2006, whichever car you choose open the fuse panel door located on the driver's side. Usually if the sticky key was done, some people will write that on the inside of the fuse door cover. (see picture).
The black one looks in much better condition inside and out, in my opinion. It looks like the previous owner took great care of it. Also, unlike the blue one, the cup holder isn't broken.
Also, a heat gun should easily take those decals off. You could probably have the dealer do it for you, or you can use them to drop the price a bit. The prices are much lower than when I bought mine a couple of years ago.
I have a black 2006 base model with a 6 speed manual and I love it! Good luck!

Thanks for the reply and vehicle suggestion. Much appreciated on the info on build date and the "sticky key" issue. I'll make sure to review that on any vehicle I check out in person.

For sure! I've had enough lessons to learn about patience. Some more painful than others.

Yes it seems like they're overlooked. I just started looking and luckily I did a generic convertible search or I would never have specifically thought of the Crossfire. They came out a couple years after college and I was still broke and never put them in mind. They just seem like an absolute bargain at this time for a fun and quick roadster. I also feel the styling has aged well.
I really appreciate the replies and grateful that there's an active community that's open and responsive.
Cheers everyone!
