Hello, I am Chantal from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I was searching for a summer cruiser for awhile and was surprised to come across a 2004 Crossfire being sold locally. It checked off many things I was looking for - low milage, no rust, fun to drive, and the looks to my liking. It has only 31500 miles showing on the odometer, the inferno red paint is very eye catching and super fun to drive the 6 speed stick. I bought it on Friday Sept.5th, went for a cruise in it the next day, and on the Sunday put it in a car show. Last Sunday, I showcased it in another car show. Many people were intrigued by it.
oh by the way, I came across the forum when searching for issues with the locking and tried a couple of suggestions offered when someone had the same issue. Changed the remote battery then checked the fuse and that was the problem. The fellow I bought it from gave me $2000 off cause he thought it was something costly!

Too bad winter is coming to the Peg, enjoy the next 4 weeks of driving
Thank you all,
UrbanE, I just had to take it for a cruise on River Road! I have been putting the red beauty in car shows every weekend. I created a few information sheets about the specifications and the quirks last weekend, in which created more interest and folks really looking over the car after reading them.
I really like that red color! Your car really looks like it's in great condition! I have three Xfires, 2004, 2005 & 2006, but mine were bought from people who used them as daily drivers so they are not in as pristine condition. Milage on my three run from 2004 -174K, 2005 -110K & 2006 - 98K. They definitely are not car show quality but I enjoy them just the same. Here in Florida we can drive them year round due to good weather. Below is the 2004 I bought about three weeks ago. This car was on the way to the junk yard had I not rescued it and bought it. Had another engine installed last year and would not run properly. Took 15 minutes to figure out the problem being "NEVER CHANGED" air filters and was starving for air! She runs and purrres like a kitten. Car is a rescue in progress. Enjoy your beautiful red Crossfire.
Sure was a joy to cruise, show and tell the red beauty. Soon it will be going into storage. However, this past weekend was a gorgeous day so had to go for a cruise each and every day of it!
