The GCG had a meeting a while back to begin brainstorming on things to do next summer in the three days that we have.

This poll is the first of what may be a couple in order to narrow down the organized activities for those in attendance; as such, I would appreciate only those who are going to attend and/or those considering attending but have held off for whatever reason.


These are going to be pretty generic at this time and as we start to have options we'll test the waters with more detail. (hopefully I get this right the first time as I've not done a poll here yet)

Right now there are three areas driving, sightseeing (touristy), and racing. Please make sure you read all the options. (PM me if you have other ideas)

 

Just a bump to try and generate some more voting...we've had only 13 out of 81 visits and I've not checked it that often.

Just voted, Driving and Sight seeing (as long as some of the sight seeing can go by a winery or two )

 

I voted for driving and sightseeing. Granted, I'd love to be able to race her, too, but I don't think I can fit in my XFire with a helmet.. Stupid being 6'2".

It would be great to get out and racing a bit, but then again just driving and sightseeing is nice too..

Besides, I can't go to St.Louis without hitting the casinos...its inevitable.

I considered that, but in reality we only have 3 days and if there really isn't any interest in a particular area, I don't want us wasting time. Besides, as we finally have interest in the poll, it is too late to change it.

Crossfires in Amsterdam or Hamburg 2011 ??

Either one would work, but why not both. But I don't know that I want to pay to ship the car there and back

 

I could always get Rich Schaefer's number if you wanted to setup anything at Gateway raceway, whether it be Crossfire carshow,dragracing, ovaltrack, road,autox.... drifting, burnout compitetions(just joking on the last 2=P). I kind of pissed him off two weeks ago but any chance for publicity or money and he is a go . I found out he doesn't like victory donuts in his parking lot... lol.

you tell rich the only doughnuts I will do will come from Franc buying them for me....I'm in...but I will go along with whatever the majority wants to do...

 

Make sure to tag up with Franc on what ideas you may have, I think the two of you are very familiar with the track plus we don't want multiple people contacting the track.
