The Gateway Crossfire Group announces the St Louis Children's Hospital Benefit Raffle!



This beautiful, virtually blemish free, AeroBlue example of Eric Stoddard's genius with only 37K miles on the clock will be raffled off at the Crossfires Across America Rally.

Proceeds of the benefit will go to the St Louis Children's Hospital Charity Fund - Tickets are $100 USD and limited to 350 total tickets; this number will not increase so your odds of winning are very good.

One does not need to be present to win, however I suggest they ask someone to represent their interests at the event.

There is no limit at this time on the number of tickets you may purchase.

Tickets will be issued on received funds only.
Each Raffle ticket is produced to order and is unique. Two copies are to be produced.
One will be mailed to the purchaser and one will be sent to the Contest Arbitrating Accountant.
She will register the ticket and place it in a sealed unmarked envelope.

At the final dinner, a representative from the St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation will select the winner.

CICCI has donated a $150 gift voucher to use for purchases at the CICCI store to be given to the winner of the raffle If the winner is not already member of CICCI they can use $35 of there gift voucher to pay the one year membership fee. They can then use the remaining balance for CICCI store goods purchases.

You have until Thursday June 24th at 2:00pm to purchase a ticket but I would advise everyone to purchase early as there are only 350 tickets available. This number will not be increased.

However, if we fail to sell a sufficient number of tickets the raffle will likely have to be canceled. In the event the raffle is canceled, your money for the purchase of raffle tickets will be refunded.

Note,June 23, 2010 @ 11.50 PM. We are coming into the last day. Cathy and others have been selling off the list so to speak. Sales are at 150 or so. She will be tallying and justifying the list Thursday morning.
If we don't have enough (200 minimum sold tickets) we wil have to re schedule the drawing. Technically, it will be a "new" raffle.
You wioll be alowed to excahnge your old ticket for a new one or get a refund.
Or buy more chances.
Cathy will explain the rules if that happens Thursday night at the dinner and then post it here.


NOTE: Cathy will be issuing and mailing all the tickets sold so far, this coming holiday week end. The list above will be changed to include your ticket serial number

OK so that didn't happen. We are going to process and mail them tonite and Monday June 7th. Crumpy has promised to deal with her procrastination problems later.

Relying on 'snail mail' may be a stretch for some of us to receive our tickets before we leave for CAA this coming weekend. If not received, just adds another quirk since raffle rules state that original ticket must be presented to claim prize (assuming that enough tickets are sold to hold the raffle).

The whole raffle has been kinda hard to pull off. Seemed easy over a few beers when we thought it up.

Fortunately we can "modify" some things as we go.

If you don't have tickets in posession by now we will not Snail Mail them. If you are coming to the event we will hand them to you in person. Everyones name and contact is on thetickets Stubs. You will need the ticket to take possession of the vehicle. We will see to it that it happens.

If you are not coming we will mail them. There are twenty three military personel who will not see tickets unless we get better addresses. Because of the closed group sales, and these unusual situations, some leeway is allowed.

We had envisioned that sales would be so fast that by June 1st, all 350 would be sold and sent out. Hasn't worked that way. Still we want to sell right up to the last minute so one way or another we will make that possible.
