oh man, seriously?, why would you go and do that. i guess if thats what you like, i hate those little gti's and they are not fast whatsoever, i guess they have potential because there are mods for them but overall i think you will regret it, you are going from a flashy car to a car that will go un-noticed.

 

You must know nothing about cars...and i really dont care!They have more pick up then the crossfire without the mods.......but whatever....Peace out...good luck with the crossfires! dont worry I'll let you win!

 

right buddy, i know nothing about cars, you got me figured out, you don't have to go and be a deush bag thats for sure, ill let it slide and not make a comotion over it, just stating that those cars are a everyday car you see on the street, and they are not fast i don't know where you get that, neither are the crossfires trust me i know, that is not the reason i bought a crossfire, i bought it because i missed having a convertible and its a nice looking car that you don't see everyday. I sold me 480whp srt-4 that went high 11's at the track. I now have a project going building a 94 supra tt, the crossfire is my daily driver and has few mods that make it touch 12s hopefully (NEEDSWINGS intake, magnaflow cat back, ngk iridiums, zex 75 shot) there are other mods i could get too but like i said not my focus to make it nasty, it looks good the way i have it, i have not ran it yet with the new mods, but like i said im not out to make the crossfire a race car, just a sweet cruising machine that drops panties and still has a liittle grunt to it. im sure my crossfire would take a new gti, im actually postive of it anyway. it all depends on what you want and what you like not me, so do your thing but ill be curious to see how long till you want to get rid of it.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as a "deush". with all the upgrade and performance mods that are available for the GTI and not parts someone fab'ed up in there backyard(no offense needswings but he is not K&N or a major parts manufacture)I pretty sure that I can get 350hp with no prob...and only spend Another 2000 on a turbo up-grade and not 10,000 for a turbo for the x-fire because it doesnt have one ...Thats way I bought the GTI. I can make the GTI faster then an srt neon...Much better then VW!you dont see those everyday a piece of sh*t neon you got to be kidding me! But im the "deush"bag cant even spell...dumb *ss! next time you call someone a name make sure you spell it right "D*CK HEAD". No one on this forum likes you anyway's you troublemaker. thats the way, good for you whatever makes you feel better ya know, and i don't even have a crossfire anymore, saleen s281 as of today, lets play bud. go get on the v dub forums. they are chick cars for sure just hope you keep that in mind. and that gti wouldn't stand a chance against a srt-4 go try that and get toyed with. needswings is a very good company and stand by there products there is nothing bad to say about them. i understand the gti has a turbo good for you, yes with some money would run i agree, just don't like the car at all, like i said its your car your the one who has to drive it. if you would really like to play though let me know ill def. come put a hurtin on that little vw sideways.

I'm in Binghamton, NY right now, but the end of the year I'm moving to Saratoga Springs, NY.

Spdracer35 is down in philly and would probably be game as well.

As for the h/w I have a black/black srt-6 NW CAI, ASP pulley. I know there's another black srt-6 up in albany, I almost bought it a couple months ago, but not sure of any others in the area though.
