Where are you from Photoman? Do I need to adjust my sig?

Shame I didn't know about these events at Zelienople. I'm only about 45 min from there.

Sharon is the last exit in I-80 before it enters Ohio. So it looks like about 2 hours from Waynesburg.

Odd they are only doing 1/8th mile. Ive yet to go anywhere that has done 1/4th mile but I think Keystone Raceway in Alexandria (if you ever been) does so now.

I have car show to go to tomorrow so Ill see how the weekend plays out. If all is good Ill see you there!

I have been going there for over 5 years and it was always a 1/4 mile track. Maybe there are 2 different tracks in that area.

There were a lot of nice cars there, including a Lingenfelter corvette (guy couldn't drive at all though lol) and a hot girl in a BMW. I won 4 out of 5 races, the one I lost was to an evo. I launched too hard and fishtailed all the way down the "track". It is amazing how slick that runway was since there was no track prep or rubber on the pavement. Temps got as high as 103 degrees then we got rained out and it dropped down to 69 degrees.

1st race: Trailblazer SS, killed him by a distance of about 1/2 the track.

2nd race: White Evo (modded), I knew he had the advantage of AWD so I tried to launch hard hoping that my burnout when I staged would give me enough traction. Lol I fishtailed about the first half of the track then once I stopped spinning I caught up to him and he beat me by about a car length.

3rd Race: RX-8 asked me to race him so I said sure. I beat him by about 1/2 the length of the track lol.

4th race: Black Evo (modded) Beat him by about 2.5 car lengths. I launched at idle and did not floor it until I got into 2nd gear.

5th race: Trans Am, we made it almost to the staging lane then we got rained out. It was a hell of a downpour.

I had a lot of fun and it was just like street racing, the girl would flash the light and then you would go. If a car jumped the light and the other car chased then it was considered a legitimate race.

There were very few rednecks which was a nice surprise, I definitely want to go again! The car did great and averaged 24mpg up and back so I was happy with that!

On the parade lap the announcer said "Watch this crossfire, it is a sleeper. That thing is a SRT-6!"
