We won't ever get a day that suits everyone. Need to set a date and go with it. The 21st is fine with me, I have a family reunion on the 20th. But if most people want to go on the 20th and not Fathers Day. Then go. We just need to know when and where to meet so as many people as possible can make it.
On a side note has anyone driven the Storm King Highway Rte 218 in New York. I have a book about great roads and it appears to be a Crossfire type of road. Book actually says only passengers actually get to enjoy the veiw. It is carved into the side of Storm King Mt. If I can't make your trip I might just come and try this one. Thanks Ron

The 20th would probable be best, with Fathers Day being Sunday.

Weather permitting of course . . ....

Meeting at the Rockaway Mall right off of Route 80, Exit 35A. Time ?

I can plot a cruise from there up into Sussex County and then out toward the Delaware River area. There is a nice local place called the Walpack Inn. Good food and plenty of parking.

Maybe a late lunch, early dinner kind of trip.

sounds good to me. Mid maybe early afternoon 2 or 3 o'clock if it works. Plot the trip then we will all meet up if we can get a lot of guys to go. The more the better.

Are we still up for this or do we want to try for a different weekend. Weather is not looking to promising and I know some people don't like to get their cars wet. I don't know if moving it off by a month would be better. Maybe more people can make it.

Next available weekend I would have would be July 18 -19 or July 25 -26.

OR

We could all just go to the show here in NJ on Aug 2nd and take a cruise late in the day and go for dinner somewhere local.

Thoughts ? ? ?

Has a decision been made as to a date and time? Also need a street address of where we are meeting up. Looking forward to meeting all.

I completely understand ur reasoning. And yes it would be great if we could pull this off especially with as many people as possible. Lets Postpone it then. until later notice. I would like to work out a drive before that show on the 2nd of august those wknds in july then..we'll set a date time and place and stick with it. Where is the show on the 2nd and what time??

Thanks Cal

I'm good with moving it off until next month.
Let's wait for better weather and we can get this more organized.

If I'm driving my Roadster with a bunch of other Crossfire's, I want to put the top down.

I'm free 1 day in July, the 26th. Between graduation parties weddings and car shows it doesn't leave me to much free time.

Love to get in on a Ny/Nj drive.. July is completely booked for us..August ??? It's been years, but how about 7 Lakes Parkway?? usedto get to it from Route 17..Remember it being pretty and wind y. Is the town across the HUdson from West Point,Cold Spring?? went to lunch once there,, very pretty, antiques, outside cafes.. New Hope, PA is a great town,, not sure if there would be a scenic drive there,, unless you count the back farm roads of Princeton. The coastal roads of the Jersey Shore are beautiful, but forget about driving on a weekend, unless it's in september. Other places that come to mind is Nyack NY,,The Ol' 76 restaurant is there,,they tried Benedict Arnold there and hung him up the street.. G. Washington used to park his horse hereto pick up a beer. Round Valley Reservoir,NJ has a beautiful swimming lake as a destination.

If anyone is in the North NJ area there is a Cars & Coffee in Chatham, NJ tomorrow...happens every other weekend. I will be out there.

It goes from 8:30a to 11a.

Address: 650 Shunpike Road, Chatham, NJ 07928

Hope to have you join....there is usually a nice crowd of high end cars. Especially Ferraris, Porsches, and sometimes some fancy rare cars.
