For anyone interested - We will meet up at the Burtonsville Cruise In (NE corner of the intersection of RT's 29 and 198, Giant Food Shopping center in Burtonsville Maryland) at 9:00 am. We will hang out there until 10 am and then cruise up to Sugarloaf Mountain in south Frederick county. We will try for a photo op but due to the time of year and the number of people there it may be impossible. We will definitely find a place to pop some pics. After the mountain we will reconvene at the Olney Ale House on rt 108 in Olney for lunch. Their menu is online. Just pm me if you intend to make it so I can make a reservation. The Burtonsville Cruise in is one of the biggest in the area and one of the best free car shows you will ever attend.

Would like to go but no way I will be able to wake up at 7am the day after halloween party. I might make the next gathering. I will have my mods done by then too I hope

 

Sounds great. I will try to make it (my first one). I may have relatives in town that weekend but hope to be able to do the front end of this and the cruize to Sugarloaf -- and then have to head out from there. I actually live about 15 minutes from Sugarloaf so I'll just have to track off the back end as others make their way back to the Ale house. There's also a winery right at sugarloaf that might be an option for a stop over (either for a photo shoot or a drink (may not open until about noon though). As far as photo opts for the trip -- Sugarloaf has a circle on the downward side which might be a good spot (depending on number of cars) to try out. If you're not familiar with it, check out the map and google ariel.

I have no problem moving it up a week especially since Jake was the one who really wants to do it so let's move it to November 7th. We may have better luck with a photo op on the mtn. anyway.

 

Ok thats better. I will say if I can get mys parts installed before then I am 80% coming. Waiting on my ECU pulley and intake. all of which are in the mail.

crap, im going to be out of town that weekend. oh well i'll try to get to a burtonsville cruise before the season is over.

 

Burtonsville runs all year round but once the weather turns cold the attendance drops to maybe 1/2 dozen die hards. We are usually good through November and start back up again in the early spring. I'm not gonna be there this week, riding with the Cobra club, hopefully my next car. I do plan on being there after this weekend until the cold stops me.

Looks like 5 of us, will make the final offer on the Cobra tomorrow so I doubt I'd be in it til sometime next week, it will need to have the racing clutch replaced. So I will be in my Crossfire. As you come in the lot we usually sit in the row across from KFC/Taco Bell and closer to the shopping center end of things. If any of you need me my cell is 240 750 0402.
