Well it's that time of year again. Made a quick pass last Sunday in my wife's car, mine's sidepipeless until tomorrow. We are back down by the Burger King , 198 at old rt 29.
Word was it was going across the street but so far that hasn't happened. I plan on being there at 8:45 with the Cobra.
There are two other Cruise In's you guys may be interested in, Laytonsville which is in the Laytonsville Shopping Center across from Stadlers Nursery on Rt 108. That one starts Friday night April 1st at 5:30 p.m.
The other is Saturday night, same time, Olney Shopping Center, RT 108 Green Turtle, Harris & Teeter center. That starts the next night, April 2nd.
Look for you guys on Sunday.

 

I had to do some things to the Crossfire saturday and didnt get a chance to give it or the plymouth a bath. so I didnt go. I heard the turnout was pretty good for an early in the spring event. I should be there for the next good sunday morning.

 

Looks like Sunday April 3rd is gonna be decent, maybe a little cool but I'll be there as long as its dry.

 

interesting. since im taking the plymouth to Marley station on saturday, it will be clean and ready for a trip out sunday morning.

 

Will definitely be at Burtonsville in the morning, hope to see you guys in the a.m.!

cool, how was the turnout? i ended up going out saturday night after leaving Marley Station and over slept sunday morning and missed the Burtonsville gathering.

 

I guess about 50 cars, it probably won't really get going until it warms up a bit more.

 

If the sun is out and it has dried up I will be there.

 

the weather looks like it may be ok for some cruising this weekend.

 

Hope to see some of you at Burtonsville this Sunday. The weather has been crap this spring but Sunday is supposed to be beautiful, I'll be there!

I plan on trying to be there in early June! I'm just trying to find some free time to get a few parts together and installed! And can't wait to check out that Cobra!!

 

Jason - Look forward to seeing you. I will not be at Burtonsville tomorrow. I'm putting the Cobra in a Car Show in Olney at Fletcher's. The show starts at 10 and goes to 1 so that is where I'll be spending my Sunday. Fletchers is on Georgia Avenue just past the Giant Food before you hit 108.

several people here at my office were talking about that show, so im guessing the turnour was pretty good. any plans for this sunday since it is the holiday? if anyone is in the area sunday, ill cruise to burtonsville sunday morning.

 

I'll definitely be there Sunday. I'm sorry I missed last week but I forgot about Fletchers Car Show. I should have gone to Burtonsville, the show was a waste of time. Sunday should be a beautiful day and the turnout is always big before a Monday holiday so I would suggest getting there early. I should be there around 8:30. Look for me, blue Cobra, no stripes (yet) and really shiney wheels.

 

I'll be there with the plymouth. it will be cool to see that cobra!

cool, but ill be at a car show, at the Frederick DMV on the 18th, i'll post the flyer on here. open to all cars, no set entry fee, just a donation. come up to that show, we can meet up somewhere. also wednesday nights they have a cruise at the Burtonsville lot, pulls in about 20-30 cars. stopped there tonight, mostly to get something to eat, at cheeseburger, cheeseburger, but there were some cars still there.
