Thinking of doing a skyline drive cruise in the next few months if there is any local interest. It's a few exits before Strasburg on 66 and runs South through the blue Ridge eventually changing over to the blue Ridge Parkway around Staunton, VA. I wouldn't plan to go down that far though, I probably stop for lunch somewhere and turn around.

We have a Maryland Club (Crossfires of Maryland). We have a club meeting on Saturday. If you end up making some plans let me know. I'll float it with our members and maybe we can join you.

I'm in the DC area.

Sounds like fun. I'd be interested depending on the day.
I've done it during the fall, but there's too much traffic from the leaf gawkers.

I live in King George but work in Alexandria; I know I've seen a few other Crosfires down in Fredericksburg.

I'm in Haymarket VA. Judging by his location and mod-list listed in his signature, i'm fairly certain that I bought beasticles car. But it's in good hands and I have alot in store for it

Edit: Just creeped his profile, definitely bought his old car.......lol.

Thanks. Yeah i've already viewed that thread........basically matched his eBay motors listing to the tee which is where I found the car.

I'll let you know when i'm free to meet up for drinks at BJ's. Have you actually been there yet? They have excellent food and they have a wide variety of their own in-house beer.

Tom- Replied to your PM.

My car is coming together nicely. It'll be somewhat where I want it to be within the next few weeks and by that time I hope that we'll be holding somewhat steady with warmer weather. That being said, i'd love to meet up with some fellow NoVa guys sometime soon. I'm new to the car but not to the car community and i'm always up to learn the in's and out's on these cars.

Hopefully i'll see some of you guys around soon

Hey guys, PTuning is having their yearly spring open house meet next Saturday, April 5th. I go every year and it's always a good time. Their facility is located in Manassas VA near the PWC Courthouse if you're not familiar with them. I am planning to sign up for the discounted dyno session as well ($60 for 2WD/$70 for AWD). It would be cool to meet some of you guys there!

We should all meet up at Caribou Coffee in Bristow sometime. Maybe like a Sunday morning perhaps? They have a pretty good size parking lot, usually arent super busy and it's a really nice area. Just a thought! I have still yet to formally meet any other Crossfire owners....lol. By the time you guys meet me my car is going to look pretty wild!

I am in Gainesville VA also, and tried to get a dyno at that shop, they said oh we forgot and were doing some ricers so you have to come back another day. Poop I had taken the day off and was non plussed for sure. Just saying. Currys used to do dynos but moved their shop and have not reinstalled the dyno as far as I know. Enjoy, Woody

I'm curious as to what my car would make on a dyno. I'm not familiar with how much hp our cars lose through the automatic transmission. Currently I just have a Needswings single CAI and Eurocharged Performance ECU/TCU tunes as far as my performance mods go. I am having Hi-Flo build my exhaust this week with a Megan Racing M-RS muffler but I doubt that'll really yield big hp gains so much as it will just make the car sound good.

Random, but I see a maroon Crossfire convertible in Gainesville regularly. It has a car bra and a black stripe on the rear of the car. I have seen it parked over by Regal Theatres/BJ's a few times and I saw it driving down Linton Hall yesterday afternoon. But I am always in my Civic when I see him......lol.
