I hear they just opened the Going to the Sun a couple of days ago. It may still be iffy but if I can get the new tires mounted I would love to take the day and run up there with you.
There's nothing like Glacier Park and America's most picturesque drive for a day.

We did the trip last year, over the Canada day- July 4th weekend ,stayed in Waterton 1 night and Whitefish for 2 and back up thru Radium B.C .Managed to get an empty road on "THE SUN" road repairs , we turned around and went back on the clear road, then waited for the other direction to clear and went back. it took us 4 hours of playing to do the whole "going to the sun road".
We are planning to go to Yellowstone in mid september and will probably drive the "sun" going north and south

After the CAA we stayed in Great Falls on July 4, stayed @ the Hamton by the airport and had a great view of the fireworks, you guys put on a great show both in your backyards and by the river.
I was a little concerned @midnite when the guns started,

My wife and I were just talking about how it would be fun to go to Yellowstone.
September is such a nice time of year down here.
If you come through Great Falls we should do dinner...
If you come through on a Thursday my wifes resturant has a great Bluegrass open Mic night that can be very fun and entertaining.
Look up "Bert & Ernies" here in Gt. Falls on the internet. It has been a great place to meet and dine for over 30 years.
We havn't been across the Border since one needed Passports but need to get back up there. We have always enjoyed little trips to Canada.
Maybe we'll see you in September.
Mike

I just got back from a drive out to Laramie and visiting my in-laws for a couple of days. First long trip for the Aero. I took the SSB out the last two years and went via Spokane, Idaho and Montana.

I hooked up with a SSB coupe fromn Washington in Idaho and we played leap frog to Boise when I kept going and he went into town.....I did do a little sprint for him so he could see who was the boss.....

Hope you guys are having fun and driving safe.....

I went through Missoula the last two summers and didnt see you man.....

I would love to have someplace remote enough to check the max speed... too many leo's in OR....
I do get to check the run at the 1/4 mile when I want.... but I like to drive and Idaho and Montana are beautiful places to do that....along with OR and WA of course..
