Okay you Mercedes aficionado's out there, I need advice. My 1975 450 SL refuses to idle and seems to be running very rich. There is soot blowing out the exhaust. I have replaced the injectors, starting valve, ignition wires and EFI trigger points to a tune of about $2000.00, with no improvement. This started all of a sudden. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is a super clean and was a great running machine. Maybe it is just wearing out, like me. HELP!! If you can.
