i'll take the veyron... a much more refined and technology advanced automobile.

the car pictured... looks like a kit car with all engine...

 

search it though. that's just one of the first ones. it looks much better in red.

 

however it does look like the design was borrowed, as proven by a website.

 

Looks cheap compared to the Veyron. Even tho it is $500,000 less. The body lines look fake and cheap. Would still take the Veyron considering everything not just speed. If I owned one of them i would have to move to Germany. In america you couldn't hit those speed. but you sure could use that 0-60 in 1.67 seconds.

 

The front view kind of reminds me of the McLaren F1.

 

I do not like the design to much either and romio is right... if you were to purchase a car of that performance it's best to move out of the country or move to a less populated area, because the temptation will kill you... and if it doesn't the cops will get you...

 

Yea way to easy to get arrested for going double the speed limit. Just catch a wide open stretch of highway and nail it to 270 MPH. Could give a ole black and white crown vic a run for its money. But even if you avoided speeding tickets i'm sure you would get the "contest of acceleration" or w/e they say if you take off too fast.

if i had to get something with a 16-cylinder engine...


i think it will probably be a little more affordable than the veyron.

 

why would you want a backseat?

 

yea i am thinking about it... but based on how uncivil the state is known to be I think it will be tough to find a job that will be able to put food in my stomach, nicotine in my lungs, and gas in my crossfire...

besides do they even have gas there?

although it's supposed to sit at 1,000 hp with its 13+ liter engine, the cadillac sixteen isn't made for all out racing. it's made for comfort and it looks wicked. plus, you can always use backseats. there's one in the move "Click." it's the car adam sandler drives when he's fat. even though they would have probably cost several times the price of the xlr, it would still be cheaper than the veyron with just as much horsepower and a lot more comfort (i don't plan to drive a sports car forever). cadillac isn't going to make it though. they are more than likely going to come out with a 12 cylinder car that looks similar to the sixteen instead.

 

The car at the beginning of the thread reminds me of a blend between the Saleen S7 and the Zonda. Check out all of the louvers and scoops, as well as the headlamps. I'm not seeing the elise in the design as much as the S7 cues.

And 0-60 in 1.7 seconds? On low-profile street tires??? I call bs... I mean top-fuel is barely in that realm, and that's with huge, wide slicks with a nice soft sidewall.

Not believing it, personally.

 

I just like the look of the Saleen. Sleek and fast. Only a tad spendy...Compared to our Crossfires... LOL.
