new competitor of the srt6

the nismo fairlady z - a 350z on steroids. i have to admit that it looks good. it's basically a street legal nissan gt car. they're supposed to come out this summer. the srt6 has about 25 more hp, but i think the z would give it a run on the track.

It's going to be an amazing car... stay tuned.
As for this new Z, there is only a minimal engine mod... 313 HP.

The Z owner I work with is a little disappointed in his. I wonder why the aerodynamics were ignored in the current Z design. Glad to see Nissan has decided to do something about that.
Now, if they would get rid of the extra weight on the back end they would make a little more progress.
I think the CF has one of the best rear end designs of any of the 2 seaters out there.

The only thing good about the Z is the powerplant, the car looks nice but it's a bit overweight and the interior sucks. Nissan needs to totally redesign the layout for fitment of the big Americans.
Personally I think the x-fire is closer to the design roots of the original Z cars than the 350Z is. IMO lol.

I agree with the one guy about the 350's sorry aero design... IMO there was not nearly enough downforce present at speeds over 115. God Forbid you're in the roadster... and it is HEAVY for a sport coupe.
And in most cases, Infiniti is a direct clone of Nissan. For example, the QX56 and the Armada. If you were to buy a limited-out Armada, and drive it blindfolded, you'd never know the difference between it and the QX. Inside amenities are exactly the same, and it uses identical powertrain, interior components, everything. You pay an extra $11,000 for a badge or five.
Now, if you were driving blindfolded in any regard, I wouldn't want to be on the road with you. But you get my point.
the nismo fairlady z will keep up with the srt6 but the srt6 will win in a 0-60 mph race a 1/8 mile race and a 1/4 mile race, srt6 has around 40 more lbs of torque and about 30 more horsepower and it weighs a good 200 lbs less.

I love my G35 coupe. By the way someone said it has 303, it only has 280 hp. The new one will have 330 as stated above. The new G sedan has 303 hp. Can't wait to take a test drive. May have to trade in my "old" G35.
