Ok, guys...My question is, what vehicle do you see most when you are driving to work or around town on the weekends? Hands down winner (around here anyway) has to be the 05' - '06 Acura TL. I see a TON of them on the road everyday. I was bored one day on my way to work so I decided to count them as i saw them...In a span of the 5 mile trip down I295, I spotted 10! I'm sure i missed a couple too, haha...It is just a reminder to me that i own a rare, beautiful car and im thankful for it. So what cars do you see way too many of?

That's how I felt with my wife's 300C. When we first got it, it was very rare to see one and everyone would want to look at and ask a ton of questions. Now, everywhere you turn your head there are 3 or 4 to be seen at one time. I didn't like the fact also that you could buy a cheaper 300 (Limited, Touring). This may have helped Chrysler sell a lot of 300's, but it killed the resale on the 300C. Luckily we got a got trade on ours for the Crossfire, in fact we drove by the dealer where we purchased yesterday evening & our 300C is still on the used car lot, We purchased on 4/11.

Funny my 3rd car is an Acura TL. And what's the most common color? Probably mine, Black. Its my wife's primary car and she seems to like it. No problems whatsoever except tires wore quickly. She had a blowout at 24,000 miles in one tire so they replaced all 4 at 50% off retail. Came in at under $400. My impression, its a well made car. If she took better care of it cosmetically it would be beautiful. However, it is the roughest riding car I've ever been a passenger in other than my '93 Jeep Wrangler Renegade. I could lose 3 fillings on the way into NYC if she's not careful with potholes. Lease is up in 5/08, won't be sorry to see it go. I must say though it's different from the drivers seat because you're more engaged in the driving. As a passenger you're concentrating on the ride.

The most popular color for the TL has got to be silver, IMO.

Anyways, what do I see the most of on the way to work?

Sadly, it's a 4 way tie:
Chevrolet Suburban
Chevrolet Tahoe
Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT
Chevrolet Astro

No kidding. These 4 vehicles are EVERYWHERE.

There's a ton of them around here in Maryland too. Silver is popular but I see more black ones. Its a great car. If acura that can make a car that can stand up to my son's abuse then its a good car, he has an RSX type s.

I remember when i was about 14, so 1996 or so, when it seemed like everyone and there mom drove ford explorers. I too counted them once, 30 mile drive to school from west hollywood to la canada. 56!!! that was the craziest thing man, i swear. My mom ended up buying one too, maroon eddie bauer edition. thing started falling apart at 90k miles, i still don't understand why people buy ford's.

Hon-DUH accords...the damn things are everywhere! IMHO, when the owners register those things they should have to pay an additional "ugly tax".

Well, I'm going to look at this from a different angle. When comparing the rarity of the Crossfire, I will only compare them to higher end cars. Of the higher end cars I see the most of would have to be 3 Series BMWs. I live in an affluent area, and they are on every street corner.

I see a ton of 3-series too for that price range. Next price range up, the E-class seems to be the vehicle of choice.

In and around the DC area I see more BMW 3's and 5's than I can shake a stick at. A few 7's but not a whole lot. Also, I see a ton of Dodge Chargers with Maryland tags on them. Same goes for when my wife and I were down in Baton Rouge, LA for mothers day...TONS of Dodge Chargers.

If they do release the Dodge Challenger... I might be stepping out of my lil XF.

...only time will tell.

Here in Charlotte, NC... banking capital of the south... every other car is an Infinity G35. Seriously. Every other car. I see so many of those. And it's a nice car. It really is. But there are sooo many of them. I've never counted, but they seem more popular than any other car on the road.

I agree with the BMW 3 series. They are all over around here, but you can't discount the Toyota Camry. Now that a car you can't turn around and not see one.
