Default Chrysler cutting products...

Before anyone starts harping on, this is a reputable paper.

No surprise on the Compass and Commander. The reviews on both have been horrific and they have almost given Commanders away.
The Magnum and Sebring are a little surprising to me though.

Dang...I was hoping to get the Magnum SRT for the wife in a few years when we finally decide to have kids. Looks like I may need to pick one up sooner.

The Commander and Compass were both FLOPS. The sebring seems nice, and I see a lot of them on the road? Maybe they figured it is too close to the avenger?

Same here. The new Sebring is a very nice looking car. When I first it, I immediately thought they should have given it a different name as it looks nothing like the old ugly Sebring.

Does it compete with the 300C?

I work for chrysler at the belvidere assembly plant. We are getting the same word about model cuts. The new bosses think there is to much product overlap. In our case the compass competes directly with the patriot. As far as the sebring goes i think that one will be up for a makeover already instead of just being cut. The new avenger runs the same platform and in my opinion is a much better looking car. I think you will see alot of changes coming for chrysler and in the end i bet we will be a much smaller company with fewer dealers.

Are they blowing any of them out like they did with the Crossfires (40% + off sticker)?

Reviews don't tell the whole story - I have a 2007 Commander (Hemi FWIW) and it's a great vehicle. Still it's not for everyone. Probably a good reason to axe it, but I love mine.

I see quite a few Sebrings and Pacificas where ever I go and am surprised they are on the hit list.
