Something New from "The Creator"?
Do I see some vintage "Eric Stoddard" imagination here?

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe concept is powered by a V8 and is a rear wheel drive car...it is a very good looking coupe and I wasn't to surprised to learn that the "Creator" had something to do with the design. The production version in sedan form will be introduced at the 2008 Detroit autoshow.

This car looks great in person - they had it on a rotating display at the LA Auto Show a couple of weeks back. And I must say, Hyundai has come a heck of a long way in a very short period of time. I hadn't really looked at one in years because their cars from a decade ago were just pure crap. But this show car pulled me into the Hyundai display and I checked out some of their cars. Specifically regarding the interiors, I was stunned by the quality of materials, design and fit/finish of these things. No, they aren't MB/BMW/Audi quality but then again we're talking about low to mid $20k pricing here. Compared to other cars in that price range, I'd say Hyundai has done their homework and are giving the domestics something to be embarrassed about. Surprised the heck out of me.
