I've been 1 Up'ed (Kind of)
After 2 months of owning my SSB Coupe and many talks with my wife, I brought home her a new toy. A 2008 Solstice GXP Red Roadster just for her. Please don't banish me from the Forum(LOL)

I looked at these when I was searching for a convertible, ruled them out because I didn't trust the quality. Then I looked at the Sky and felt about the same way, but for some reason a little better....fortunately the dealer had 2 XF's left and gave a bargain on a 2007 that couldn't be beat.
at the risk of being banished myself, post a few pictures. I would like to see it.
I was looking at Solstices when I decided to test drive my Crossfire, once I drove the Crossfire the looking was all over
when I was looking at the Solstice the GXP wasn't out yet, I'll bet it a pretty neat car

I'll post some pics as soon as I can get her cleaned up again, it rained on me on the way home from the dealer. And just after they got her all cleaned up.

260 HP and torque, does it feel that much faster than your Crossfire??

Cool, hope you had a better buying experience than I did. I had a Sky Redline on order(before they came out) until the stealership decided I should pay an additional $2500 over MSRP after it being on order at MSRP for two months. I told them they could keep the POS and that I'd never consider buying a Saturn again.
Dunno if youre aware. They are bringing out a Solstice coupe this summer. It's pretty wild looking. I drove a turbo Solstice roadster. It was O.K. I supose. Good looking car. I really like the Sky better. It looks like a tiny Vette. I didn't really care for the 4-banger sound. It sounded like it coulda been out of a cavalier. Not impressive sounding at any RPM really. It didn't feel particulary fast. But I didn't get to really lay into it. And it had an auto which I can't stand in a sports car. One of the things I like about my Crossfire is that it's a good springboard for test driving new cars. AS of late I've driven a new GT Mustang, R/T Challenger and a 350 Z. I don't feel like I am missing a thing getting back into my used car. Actually it feels better made and tighter than all the new cars I took out.

Looks like it's time to one up the wife with a Solstice of your own.

I'd go with the Turbocharged LS7 Package. Only 900 HP!
