Default Billionaires hair dryer from Bugatti

It's from FOX so it may not be true.
2009 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport - Auto - FOXNews.com

Fruits of the evil capitalists system. One wonders how many children must be starved so someone could own one.

Enjoy it anyway

I was born cantankerous. No National health care at the time so I was never cured. My poor parents suffered intermitably.

I never got over it either.

Just think what a mush head I could have become!

......and we just missed out winning it all with Powerball last night or otherwise this work of art would've been mine, all mine.
Well, OK, actually we had 2 numbers............
Hey, you two: you ought to be ashamed of yourselves: talking right-wing fascist politics in a thread about the Veyron; how could you?

There is a ying,.. and then there is a yang.

How can we celebrate the beauty and joy of owning a fine piece of machinery like the Crossfire, or the Bugatti, and not recognize where it came from. I just didn't want some to feel the sacrifice made by the poor children was unnoticed.

My kids would starve, if I had them... btw did you check out the carbon fiber umbrella that comes with it. It looks handier than the soft top you can buy for the Solstice coupe.

Talk about a roadster with a stick!

The most expensive car in the world built in the world is a German car built in France. Go figure.

I was reading an interesting article about Bugatti in a mag while waiting for the wifey at the grocery store last weekend. The headquarters was originally in Germany. After WWII, they adjusted the border line which put it in France. New car owners can pick up their cars at the factory, drive a few blocks to cross the border and hop on the autobahn.

Too bad they don't qualify for the Cash for Clunkers program.

By far, one of the ugliest vehicles in the world, and probably the ugliest interior. If you gave me one, I'd trade it for a Ferrari or a Lambo in a heartbeat and invest the rest of the money.

Just what we need, more rain forests stripped to make the carbon fiber.

I think these guys need to put in a phone call to the Karmann plant...they at least know how to install a very unique convertable top...I wouldn't give over 1.8 mil for it with top like that...LOL

How come no other Automotive Company havent used a W-16 engine? That's basically the Bugatti's secret. Two V-8's that are inline with each other.

Do you mean inline or side by side? VV
Here is the engine block being machined from a billet for anyone interested. Neat piston layout pattern, it saves a lot of space.

Dammit, missed out on Saturday's Powerball, too!
This $6.00 we spent last week is killing me - any banks around that have a cool million or so lying around? Wonder if I could take out a loan, hmmmm..........
That's right, I don't have a million & a half of collateral lying around, either.
Darn kids, I KNEW they'd cost me bucks!

Is the engine inline or VV? I think it's VV which constitutes the W-16, so how come other car companies do this?

That was my thought at first as I could only see 12 bores but at the 7 minute mark onward of the clip there are 2 extra per side. They suddenly appeared, at first I thought we had seen the first 12 plus 4 "virtual" cylinder block.
Coming from a tool room environment I was quite interested in the operation.
