Who's going to be the first to trade in their xfire for one of these bad boys?

 

well, I can see just about every year corvette in that design....60's, 70's, 80's...that is pretty nice, but I would have to trade both xf's and still give them boot....lol

I doubt the concept will look much like the real production car.

The Camaro took 4 years, ya think they can get this done by fall?

 

Notice the lack of interior pictures. Hopefully they'll actually do something about the interior - at the last LA Auto Show the car with the worst interior, by far, was the Corvette. The Kias and Suzukis had better looking interiors than the Vette, and that's just sad.

This thing is certainly striking, but I don't know that I'd actually call it pretty.

This is a concept that Chevy brought out in 2008 to help promote the C6 and the upgrade they had make to the C6...

It is a C6 Stingray... and no they aren't in production.

 

The badge in the rear looks like a Starfleet emblem

 

was also used in the 2nd Transformers movie

 

These pics have been floating around for quite some time as the 2011 Corvette Stingray. At least 2 of these have been made b/c they had a guy driving one on Speed channel last year. I don't know if I would trade my XF but they would make great roommates in my garage!!! LOL

I love the new stingray emblem on the back, the great new head light strips & the awesome tail pipe cluster!!!

what are everyone's thoughts on the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport



It will resemble a Z06 on the outside with matching brakes and tires, stance, etc...

However, the carbon fiber fender wells of the Z06 are being replaced with fiberglass, and worst of all, the engine is going to be the base model engine 6.2L V8 (438hp)

"The Grand Sport will start at $54k, only $6k more than the base model corvette"

...but the options add the price up real quick...

What are your thoughts?

Good catch. The reflection is a different car design. Maybe it's some sort-of subliminal message.

 

Its the original version of the corvette stingray...get it... old to new...reimagination... or whatever you want to call it.

 

Yep, you're right. Pretty cool.

 

I like the roof and back window. Not very practical but cool looking. The rest of the car makes me wonder if it comes with a cape and utility belt.

 

Put a couple fins on those rear fenders, paint it black and it would make a great Batmobile.

 

Worse than a batmobile it looks like a dam cadillac, what ever happened to Bob lutz. Now the original vet in the mirror would resell with the newer suspension and such, but the fin tail lights and caddy grill, ugh NO thanks. Woody
