I like the Volt. The only other Chevy made I like is the SS/R.

I heard Consumer Reports does not like the Volt. Probably because the Japanese didn't make it.

How much? Since they only sold 281 of them in Feb, they aren't exactly meeting expectations.

GM stopped taking orders for 2011 deliveries.....Low sales, so far, is more of a supply problem than anything else. Anyway, to answer your question, paid way too much for what it is........ 47K fully loaded less $7500 tax credit

Interesting. I saw my first Volt in person parked in a parking lot here in Dallas a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop and look it over. But my first impression was it is much smaller than it looked in the photos (about the size of a Camry) and kind of bland looking.

I personally think people that buy the Volt will be buying it more as a status symbol than for the fuel economy...just like the Prius buyers. Very few owners, if any, will realize a gas savings big enough to payback the cost of the car over the combustion engine car.

Wow$ 40,000 to save maybe 6 or 7 thousand in fuel costs. I think the car would be a great 2nd vehicle for short trips around the house if it were priced below 15,000. I don't think they will be selling many at that price though. An electric vehicle that is practical and reliable is what this country needs. Our addiction to oil is crippling this country

Consumer Reports claimed they had to pay 5K over sticker to get one. That dealer must be selling every one to get anybody to pay that surcharge.

Even though it's not a Crossfire, I'd like to hear how it works out for you so I say keep us updated. My wife is thinking about one because she has a short commute. But for that price it would have to be a hell of a car. Good luck with it.

Ha, nothing! I love burning them! I get tired of the EV people pretending their vehicles run on magic.
