Here's some pics of the Cobra
Just got the sidepipes back on the car this afternoon. From Ceramic white to Ceramic chrome/silver. The silver looks 100 times better. Car fired right up after sitting for a month, beautiful afternoon for a ride. The wheels are next and then I'm done for a while.
Thanks guys - I am actually thinking about swapping them out for the Halibrand
style wheel. American makes a polished version with that would look incredible on this car. If I do keep them then yes I would go with a polished spoke. Whoever did the white did a great job but with the white pipes and the white wheels I felt like I was wearing white shoes and a white belt, not my style. I also replaced the bright yellow seat belts and harnesses with a new set of Black Simpson's.

Here's a few more pics - New seatbelts, couldn't handle the bright yellow ones. Cleaned up the dash, took the Manufactured by Shelby American plaque off this Factory 5
The 347 Stroker motor - yes its fuel injected but that's a Trick Flow Intake signed by Peter Brock who helped design the Daytona Coupe, Trick Flow aluminum heads, MSD Iginition. This cars starts when you turn the key unlike other Cobra's I drove, you had to crank them a bit before they'd fire up.
There's also a few shots prior to putting the side pipes back on the car. Once the weather gets a bit warmer I'll do some proper shots of the car, got a great response at our weekly cruise in this morning.

No unfortunately can only afford 1 toy. If you know anyone who's looking its at Flemings Ultimate Garage in Rockville Maryland and I know they will negotiate on the price. Traded the Crossfire for the Cobra.
Thanks for all the nice compliments. Well today the final chapter, I got my tags, I'm legal in Maryland! Exactly 120 days after first seeing the car everything is finally done. The new wheels have been ordered from Team III. they are completely polished Halibrand style wheels so the white ones are coming off. Soon as that is done I'll post some more pictures. In the mean time, I'm going for a ride!

Nice! I almost bought one in "03" but with a DUI on my record, I couldn't get insurance, and that was that. Now, I don't feel rich enough to be buying expensive toys and I do have the SRT.
