Who's gonna try this with their Crossfire 
It may be one of a kind, but I don't have to like it. I think over the engine area, similar to what Lantana is portraying with his picture (below) would be neat, but not the whole car.

Its a 1939 New York world fair car that was made just for the fair, and the idea from the man who invented Plex-glass back in 1939, there might only be 2 in the world, and one of them just recently sold at some auction, and was a fully functional and drivable vehicle.
I believe one of the 2 was photographed and placed on the very last page of a road and track mag about 10 years ago. Maybe I still have the mag I'll have to dig it up!
In 1950 Oldsmobile built Super 88 coupes with a transparent plexi hood and everything visible was chrome plated. They were only for dealer showrooms, but I'm sure some got away...
