~ thank you all for the input... i will be flying to maryland to pick the car up on the 29th and driving it back to ohio. i will take some pics once cleaned up.
parts ordered so far:
scheduled window tinting (50% - on all windows including full front windshield)
purchased full clear bra (including rockers)
purchased 10mm h&r trak+ spacers (front & rear) with extended lug bolts
trunk liner (oem)
weathertech mats (front & rear)
painted front side bumper markers/reflectors
akebono dust-free brake pads
debadging (side and rear emblems)

~ perhaps... many owners on the forum think the car looks great as is... i will have to make that decision once i get it. i did order 10mm spacers (front & rear) to press the wheels out slightly.
if i elect to do rims (vossen 20" rims)... i will indeed lower the car with h&r springs. my favorites so far:
