(32Krazy!) Steve's new Porsche 911 Turbo
Steve stopped by today in his beastly 650HP, 2003 Porsche 911. WOW, this thing moves.
First he took my wife for a test drive. She was impressed enough to tell me that she's okay with me getting one! LOL What else did they do on that test drive?????
Later on Steve threw me the keys and let me drive a few miles. This thing pulls more G's at part throttle in 3rd than my car when launched with slicks. I was a little saddened getting back into the Crossfire afterwards.
Anyway, here's a quick video of Steve revving it some and safely maneuvering his way up my unforgivably-steep driveway.

I've warned Steve that if he's not careful he's going to get a muff-concussion with that car. Must I explain how a concussion is possible with a bad-*** Porsche, a sunroof, and a hot chick?
I passed one on the track yesterday but it wasn't a fast yellow one. It was a white turbo. But yeah, the PCA taught me to drive so all should be good .... right?
P.S. I'm jealous, I want one.

A muff concussion is better than having a concussed muff !!!
thanx everyone for the flowers and high 5"s. oil change is on first order then drive to get used to the car. so much power so fast on demand its a handful. ill be lurking in the background but my slk32 is gone. ill see many of you at the fall dragon
Time to update the signature. The phoenix is Yellow.
Congratulations on that car Steve, once you get used to it, you will be just as comfortable as you were in your SLK, enjoy it to the fullest, if nothing changes on my end,I'll see you at the Dragon, jim
Steve, WOW that is an awsome machine. I love that car and I love that car even more in that color. I can,t wait to see it up close and personal. Congrats man you have out done yourself. See you at the dragon.
That is the nicest porsche around! I guess the rims and exhaust are aftermarket as i have never seen them. You got yellow sest belts
? I have driven a 911 996 turbo and it is very low and fast
congratulations on the motor and hope you will enjoy it.
Drove this bad boy yesterday... all I can say is, this thing is a bullet.
Very linear power buildup, and you never seem to run out of puff. It simply accelerates. And accelerates. Gearbox is notchy but direct. Reverse is a sumbeech.
4th gear in the Porsche feels like 2nd gear in my SRT. That's the rush this thing gives.
As for the muff concussion, I think Steve likes 'em bald but he may have lowered his standards with old age
No denying this thing is a head turner -- just in the hour or two spent with him yesterday the camera phones were out in full force. He will need a larger race helmet to fit the swollen noggin.
Very happy for Steve on this one, a Porsche was his dream car for decades and he finally got it.
