Nice, I can see the Crossfire getting tossed out to make more room on the floor of FP's Car Museum.

Didn't know you were looking for another classic car.
Was this in your plans or did it just present an opportunity you couldn't pass up
Either way a beautiful car and me and Anders want a ride before you put it in winter storage.
Is that possible ??

Congratulations !!

FP .... the 56 Thunderbird has always been my favorite "dream car", especially a white one with the turquoise interior.
You can "flip me the byrd", anytime ........

Nice work FP, don't know how you did it after our last conversation, but glad you are keeping the XF.

As I said, anything is better than that thing you were looking at with red interior

Have you seen Mrs. FP? FP doesn't need the Suzanne Somers option?

Really cool FP, the "Baby Birds" have always been one of my favorites. Congrats.

One suggestion, lose the skirts, they look better without them.IMO (I am talking about the car)

Did you get the removable hard top as well?

Side note: The designer of the Continental Kit, and the Port Hole window, on the 56 Birds (Chuck Mashigan) was the same man who was instrumental in the design of the 2 seater AMX. He's also the guy who designed the scoop on my Crossfires hood. Google him, he was a layed off dump truck driver just before Ford hired him in the early 50's to design Lincolns.

Thank you all. Yes, Mike it came with the hardtop too. Funny, when new the hardtop did not have the port hole. It was a no cost option if you wanted the dealer to do it. My top has no port hole. It was free then, but now if I want to do it, it's like $300. And, thanks, I agree with your comment regarding Suzanne....

Great info on Chuck.
