Talking Oh NO! Dreaded Vacation Photos...

We just got back from a 2000 mile round trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
All I can say is the Fall Colors were just beautiful, the towns were NOT crowded, and the roads thru the Black Hills were meant for Crossfires!!!
Alas, we made do with the PT-GT, it's still a 5 speed....

Here's a very few selections of the almost two thousand shots we took (don't ya' just love digital cameras!)

Our PT...

Yes, that's a one lane road, it splits off into separate lanes for a few hundred yards several times...you can just see the other lane in the middle left of the shot.

This is a lead up to a "Pig Tail Bridge", one of the attractions in the area...

Just a nice twisty....

Thanks for the looks.

I thought it said "Vatican photos".

Nice trip, we've done that too.

Thanks Joe and Max.
We had a blast, saw Mt Rushmore (at our own pace), found some mineral shops and met new people, got to ride the "1880 Train.....

Here's a panorama of one of the "pigtail" bridges...

They were designed by a local engineer some time back. The purpose was to do an altitude change in a short space and leave the scenery alone as much as possible, very cool IMO....
