Default My next car c63

I have been seriously considering buying a c63 most likely an 09 or 10. So the past few months I've been looking over the mb forum. Today I found this thread about a guy who converted his c63 into a black series and what an awesome job he did.

I have also noticed that the guys on the mb forum don't seem to go real crazy with mods. I get the feeling that they do not have the connection with their cars like most of us on here do with our crossies. I guess when a car is still being produced the thought that this might be the only one you get to experience doesn't cross your mind.

Once we get the wedding done and paid for, I think there is a C63 in our future as well. My fiancé really likes them, and although they are only available in automatics, I think I can get over that if she loves it and it goes like stink

I would really like a CLS63, but it is a little too big to still be sporty. I think the C63, even in sedan form can look quite sporty and very attractive while having 4 doors, something most cars just can not pull off.

The coupe is nice as well, but since they are newer, they are more expensive. I would be after a few year old one as well, let the first chump cover the $30-$40k in depreciation on that $70k damn near supercar and then I will pick it up

The reason a lot of the SLK32 guys have been on our forum forever is because most over there do not mod, especially like we do. It is nice to see some of the C63 get modded, and as they get more affordable, you will see more and more, but most MB owners are way too worried about voiding a warranty so it usually takes at least 4-5 years to really see some progress.

Let us know if you pick one up...

About 2 months ago I talked my Boss (also my Buddy) into test driving the C63 since his BMW M5 was returned off lease. He drove it and was impressed but waffled due to the price increase for the 2014 507 Series. As Boilerup John knows, last week he finally pulled the trigger after working them to the same pricing as the 2013. He wasn't going to pick the car up until next week as he's out of town until Friday night. My wife and I just happen to be going to his place Friday night for dinner and today he asked if I'd mind taking my company truck to the MB dealer and driving the C63 from Toronto up to his place in Midhurst and just meeting my wife there. He said he was having problems figuring out how he'd get the car home!! I said....yes that would be fine.
Its about 100km trip. He's going to owe me big time.

I say that he has his eyes on your wife, he knows you will like a ride in his car and will turn 100km into 300km at least.

That's nuts. Pretty cool though. I would love to have one but lean more towards the E, either and I'd be happy though. With my budget, for lack of decresing any mod income lol, I think I will end up with an older E55. It depends though, if I stumble on an 08 E63 for a really good deal it might be hard to pry me from it.

In any case, when/if you pull the trigger make sure to post pics!!!

That's not a black per say but it is the c63 with the ultimate performance package. I don't think we will see a "black" here in the sates.

No. For 2014 they are calling it the 507 Edition. Last year for this NA V8 motor.
