Looking at Jaguar sports coupe XK8 used prices in high teens and low twenties.I'm only looking at the Hardtop model it has a Austin Martin look , and is rare because most of the XK8s are converts. Anyone here have any info on these.I'm selling my 96 XJ12 sedan if I find one .It's 1 of only 260 made last year of 12 cylinder Jags 6 liter 330 HP.$15,000.66kmiles.looks new.

I drove the XJR and XKR almost new ones both black very nice cars 22k and 42k,used price,besides the Supercharger off the line noise (whine) I like my V12 better than both ! But I'm now looking at just hardtop XK8s because I don't care for the SC ones.They're smoother for every day driving.And i don't have to punch it every day to see if the SC was worth the extra $s.

 

13k miles Blk on blk,mint condition $39k.

 

Just not worth it to me. TO much cash for not enough performance. I have the same problem with the Xk-8 as i do our cars. Too much show and not enough go. And for 38k I'd buy a used e46 M3 or wait out for the new 500hp cobra.

 

It's not about speed or 0-60 time to me .And it's not about road racing someone in a mustang or Evo.It's about style and how this car XK8 drives all the time .And it looks awsome for the $s.Not 250,000 A.M.or other GT Touring cars.

If the only thing was speed i'd have only 2 wheels.Or a plane.

 

I'd wait one more year as Jaguar will be coming out with a replacement sports car. The XK8 will drop drastically in price as dealers try to get rid of them.

 

That might happen but here's a deal even though i'm not looking for a Ragtop,97 for $26k,with 11,000 miles on it ! red ,tan.Cream interior.Cheap enough to test out for 20-40k miles.

 

whatever you wanna do. It's your decision. It's true that waiting sucks and that prices aren't garaunteed to go down. I say go for it if you feel strongly.

 

Ok i found a local car JAGUAR COUPE 2000,with 9,000 miles silver .maybe low $30s.That's a Crossfire in depreciation ! new msrp is $70k.
