Took the XF to the local Coffee and Cars a few weeks back and saw this beauty.



Upon further research I found out the base Lamborghini Aventador starts $397,500. My question to the group is this, if you had close to $400,000 to drop on vehicles would you buy 1 vehicle such as this Lambo or would you buy a bunch of different vehicles? Personally I would buy multiple vehicles, not sure what they would be but, I like variety. You can list what you would buy but, it's not required.

 

I would be on an island somewhere driving an old jeep....

 

Lambos are way too flashy for my taste. I'd get a not viewed as unobtainable luxury sedan, something like an old Toyota pickup or Bronco, and a truckload of more reasonable sports cars. Provided I had to spend it on cars of course.

 

The jeep came fully equipped with a cabana and a beach....lol

 

Thinking about it, the sedan would be a Tesla.

 

I would take my money and run... LOL

No but seriously, I would actually love a Lambo. Those things just instill fear in people when driving up on you hahahah.

 

You can get a very solid almost supercar for the 100k-200k range and then spend the rest on some 4 or 5 fun oddities

The problem with Lambo's and other LUXO-HYPED SPORT COUPES is visability. Whats the use of being seen driving in it when you cant see anything out of it? $400K for a death trap? Nah..! Not for me. I'd spend it on a house and two matching cars me and the Mrs.

 

I know where you can get a brand new car with more than 700hp for only 60k!

 

To the few hundred people who buy one, money is not an issue, is more whether it sends the right message. and whether it feels comfortable. First question would be how well does the A/C work ?


Real people have to consider the cost/benefit. They don't. For most the way is to find one at auction.

Challenger, for now. They're quietly talking about using the engine throughout the entire srt lineup (sans Viper).
