Well that's too bad, but I think we will hear more of these stories in the future. 700+ HP to the rear wheels with Mopar engineering. I bet just about anything not involving a straight line can be very challenging for most drivers. Very much like those old 911s.

 

Dang!!!! Stupidity at it's best, but I still smell a lawsuit heading towards Chrysler.

I think the Hellcat is around 2 tenths quicker than my CL in the 1/4, so the power to weight should be fairly similar. One day after I had it tuned I turned the traction control off while on a two-lane road, and I guarantee I won't do it again. I was running around 50MPH when I floored it and the *** end decided it was bored and wanted to hang out with me up front. I suspect this guy and I have way too much in common, except I was lucky and he has money.

I can't even imagine how AMX keeps his car out of a ditch.

I had the roadster swap ends with me... I caught it half way 'round, but it was an awakening...we took her to a large area to play after that, to get a feel for the new wavetrac... she handles fine. Just need to be ready for such a short wheel base. As for this poor guy, popping a blind hill, under power and getting caught off guard....well, as Valk said, **** happens....

My car goes from 80 to 140 in 7 to 8 seconds . I have had it try to go sideways on me in the middle of I95, doing around 80, when punched,, I just don't play on the street that much any more.
Wish i had THAT hellcat I would put the complete drive train into a crossfire,,,,yes with Rudy this would be a drop in. jim

 

I know you have few more Hp then my Corvette but I can under stand what your talking about LOL !!!!!!
