I own a custom picture framing business and today a customer brought in the window sticker from his new Challenger SRT Hellcat for framing. It had an MSRP of $64,670. He said he bought it from a local dealer for sticker and didn't have to pay a premium. Doesn't seem so bad for a ton of HP. Wonder what it will be worth in 5-10 years?

I'm just sayin' at least you can't accuse the the dealer of piling on. Owner said he passed on two in CA with dealer adds of 15 and 20k.

It will depend on how many get produced. But not a bad price considering what other high performance cars are selling for. I spec'd out a Z06 a few days ago, because I was told I could buy one for 78K. Once I added the options of what I wanted, the price ended at 110K.... I hate the come-on pricing. I won't be buying either, prices are out of sight for me.

 

That certainly puts the value of our Crossfire SRT6s into perspective, doesn't it?? A clear message to be satisfied and thankful for what we have . . .

Dodge SRT Hellcat Orders Suspended to Catch Up With Demand

 

^^ This backlog is a nice problem to have if you are FCA. However, once supply catches up with demand, even the Hellcat will have incentives.
