Hey Dan, I hope this doesn't upset you, but I think the car in your Sig. is a Davis. If it is, It would have been produced between 1947 and 1949 when they went out of business. I'm sure you'll find another obscure car to highlight.

You also have to remember what the industry was producing after WWII. The industry hadn't retooled yet and was producing vehicles prior to production stopage. They were producing vehicles that were still 1941 vintage. Tucker beat them to the punch with a new design.
