I saw a Lotus Europa yesterday, I have not seen one of them for years and years. My wife worked with a woman who was in one when it wedged itself under another car or something, the car went under up to the windshield and the poor woman was badly cut on the face. That would have been around 1972.
My neighbor had one as well, he swapped it for a LHD Jag with a manual tranny, ordered in the UK and shipped here.

 

There's been a few for sale on BAT lately. Mid-engine British car with a fiberglass body and a French power train.......what's not to love?

When i was a kid in the UK my Dad had an Elan in old english white with gold. it went well . Lotus Ford Cortina twin cam motor . ah the memories.
The Europa was handsome, good too but no Elan.
Dont hit anything in either of em !
